Ancient mythology

What is mythology?

Mythology is the study and interpretation of often sacred tales or fables of a culture known as ‘myths’ or the collection of such stories which usually deal with the human condition, good and evil, human origins, life and death, the afterlife, and the gods. Myths express the beliefs and values about these subjects held by a certain culture.

Why is it useful?

Myths existed before art , before language or the written word, so mythology is our passed.

Romans invaded a big part of Europe, so the ancient romans, who’s purpose of life was mythology, are our ancestors. Everything we do would be different if they wouldn’t have existed. Our languages, culture, costums, food etc.

Greeks were the biggest inspiration of Romans, so all that is Roman comes from the Greeks. Greece was the first philosophers town.
